What the heck is an Ultrasonic facial?

Well, glad you asked! We've learned a TON about this incredible machine as you can see our example of Sarah, our Spa Director receiving an Ultrasonic facial. To explain what the actual process is, we've asked one our estheticians (Trey) to break it down for us-

The Ultrasonic facial is a result orientated three phase treatment that utilizes ultrasonic technology to gently exfoliate and resurface the skin using distilled water, deeply infuse product into the skin, utilizes micro-currant therapy "sonic massage" to encourage collagen and elastin formation and reduce inflammation.

This procedure is suitable for ALL skin conditions including aging, acne, pigmentation and sensitive skin. Basically this is magic in the form of an easy power-washing machine!

This treatment starts with a full consultation to discuss your skincare concerns and overall goals. We take the time to make sure you leave feeling like you have the BEST skin care regimen for your individual needs. After the consultation, the treatment would begin with a deep pore pre cleanse to throughly remove embedded oils and makeup residue, something your normal cleanser usually cannot obtain. From there, your service would jump right into the exfoliation portion of your Ultrasonic facial where the esthetician would apply distilled water and glide the stainless steel spatula across the skin to remove top layers of the epidermis (which is a super fancy word for skin) as well as pre cleanse to expel impactions (aka, blackheads, pimples and all that bad stuff)! This first phase also opens the follicle which prepares for the step two. Next up, you have phase two which penetrates the Environ product into the bottom layer of the epidermis, which we've learned means skin, so the absolute lowest layer will receive the product. Last, but certainly not least, is PHASE three! In this final phase you will receive the micro-currant treatment that stimulates healing, reducing inflammation. This is a pulsing currant which sends energy to the cells, prompting collagen and elastin renewal. A warm towel will then be used to remove any product residue followed by an application of vitamin A moisturizer (more on the benefits of Vitamin A in a later blog) and sunscreen to ensure you leave with a proper protection for that newly glowing skin!

This treatment is absolute completely pain free, leaving you with no downtime. We do completely recommend a four hour window before applying makeup. This treatment is recommended every four weeks for optimal results.
